I adopted Lincoln from HALO and he is the sweetest puppy! We had an incident where he became territorial with another male dog, so I took him back to HALO to be observed. The ladies there were wonderful to him and Regina explained to me how to read his body language so I could understand his mood. I didn't realize there were so many different meanings to tail wagging! Lincoln loves going to visit his friends at HALO and I highly recommend you adopt a dog from them. They really love dogs and fight for them to go to loving homes.

We recently started sending our kids to HALO, after losing one of our dogs and then having pack realignment issues. We were very scared of what they were going to say about the recent dog fights. We didn't want to have to get rid of one of our guys after losing our 19-year-old son. It was a heartbreaking experience. Now we can honestly say that dealing with HALO has been an incredible experience. These people really understand the mind and behavior of dogs. With their knowledge, we, as owners, are learning to better read our dogs' behavior and make better decisions to set them up for success. Regina, Courtney and the entire staff should receive some kind of award for the amazing work they do. Thanks thanks!
We are so happy we found Halo! When we adopted our puppy, he was afraid of many things, and we soon realized that he had some issues with reactivity and lack of socialization. Regina helped us introduce her to other dogs and now she loves participating in the daycare and playgroups there. We also went through the Canine Good Citizen class and he made a lot of progress becoming more comfortable with people and in new situations! We're still working on strap reactivity, but Halo has given us some great tools and direction.

We consulted Regina because our puppy was aggressively defending his space and possessions. We were seriously thinking about rehoming him because we couldn't control him. She was able to help us understand and deal with his behavioral issues. She has really blossomed in response to the HALO training sessions and doggy daycare. As a result, he seems calmer and happier. We are also very happy with HALO's housing and grooming services. Now, he loves going to the facility and we are better dog owners.
We loved the time we spent with Regina and her staff. Our puppy started displaying some unwanted and painful behaviors. We tried a trainer first and while it was helpful, it didn't help with the bite problems we were having. Regina and all the coaches have been wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful. We are so grateful to have found Halo! I also think they are the best daycare place we have found because they still teach the dogs how to interact and let me know when I pick him up.
My husband and I decided to adopt a putt mix from a local no-kill shelter for our daughter. She has a great interest in adopting animals and especially pit bull mixes. She came to stay with us and we noticed that she had some aggression with our other dogs and people who visited us. My husband decided to go on the hunt to find someone to help us support him and came across Halo...they were quick to respond to our need and since the first play/therapy appointment we have noticed nothing but improvements in his behavior. ....Halo has given hope to us and our new addition to our family!! I highly recommend Halo to anyone with a behavior problem or who simply needs their dog to be socialized...all classes are great for teaching us how to train our four legged animals ❤️

I love HALO! I adopted my reactive puppy at the beginning of the pandemic and had no idea what he was getting me into. My dog is still a handful, but he has come this far because of the hard work the HALO staff has put into him. They are super flexible, kind, and understanding of dogs who struggle with socialization. They are also happy to answer any and all questions you may have about training a reactive dog. I don't think I can trust any other dog daycare (or boarder!) with my dog.
